Stent is clogged-back to Indianapolis

Good Morning Everyone....

Well my pancreatic stent is clogged. It woke me out of a dead

sleep on Saturday night. Tried to ignore, the longer I keep it in

the better the duct will be stretched. Now if I lay on my back or

my left side my pancreas goes into instant violent spasms. Once it

spazs so much the pain gets sooo bad. If I lay on my right side it

calms it down. Maybe a little gravity working here...

I am schedule in Indianapolis on Wednesday, March 3rd to have

the stent changed to the next bigger one. Hope to be able to come

home on Saturday if all goes well. I always stay in the hotel

connected to the hospital, " University Place " . (Unless MD says

differently, but I am pretty persuasive) Much better than staying in

the torture chamber.

Received a call from U of C Endo MD last night. Thyroid is

good, no cancer... " Hip, Hip Hurray " !!!!!!Just an enlarged thyroid

with nodule, the organ is working fine. He will get back to me on

the adrenal lump. I also now have a 50/50 chance this will be fine

too. Listen to this..... He said he has two CT reports from The CT

scan I had done in December, in my file. Each report is from a

different radiology MD. One says the adrenal gland is normal, the

other one says there is a mass. Now hows that for a screw up. Oh

and my gallbladder is unremarkable... It sure is, don't have one. My

Endo MD was a bit upset to put it mildly. He said he is taking the

reports to the radiology Dept and getting these two MDs together,

with my films and getting this straightened out. Would love to be a

fly on the wall for that meeting. Thank goodness I have good MDs who

are thorough. So I now have a 50/50 chance all is A-Okay there.

Will see.

No call from my cardiologist, so in my experience, no news is good

news in the medical profession. So I'am taking that one off my plate

too....

So once the duct gets opened properly, I will be good to go...

I sure hope so. I have had enough MDs to last me a life time.

Don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for them I would have been dead

several times over. They keep saving my butt but enough is enough.

I have the biggest urge to just punch one and knock them down. That

would be fun... Sorry, just venting....
