getting a date-impatient

OK, I sent in my packet late last week and it was received on Monday.

Tuesday was clinic and the doc does surgery Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and

Friday. I am sure he is also at the hospital on the weekend to check on

those who had surgery later in the week.

I am very psyched and on pins and needles wanting to get the " go " . However,

I think it is really important to remember how busy everyone is at Dr. R's

office and now with Debbie out I am sure the load is heavier and heavier.

I called Barbara this morning and she was VERY nice. She told me that Dr. R

had about 30 packets he is reviewing and she should be able to get them

later today. I will probably know today or tomorrow.

Now I don't want to get a soapbox or anything, but what's the problem? I am

very happy with the way things have progressed so far. Before I found out

about the MGB I made an appt to talk to a doctor about a RNY and my initial

consult appt was 4 months away and surgery would be another 4-6 months....

I found MGB on June 27th, now its 5-6 weeks later and I will be having a

date by the end of this week, hopefully for surgery at the end of Sept. I,

for one, think that those folks down in NC are AWESOME!

Sorry to be so long winded, but geez cut them a break.
