Guest guest Posted January 12, 2002 Report Share Posted January 12, 2002 Hi, I haven't been posting much lately and didn't make it to chat last night. Have been reading all the posts though. Noticed in one of the messages where you had caught a bug in Nov. and you were still fighting it. I got something back then too. Began with a sore throat, it swelled almost shut and I went to ER, they gave me a shot of Benadryl, then adreline, then finally a big dose of pred. Kept me over night. Later it turned into a cold, runny nose then in my chest and bronchitis. Still have the cough and soreness. Took two different antibiotics, cipro and doxy. When I saw my rheumatologist a couple weeks ago he said if it was viral bronchitis that usually takes 2 months to clear up in a " healthy " person and in someone with a comprimised immune system it could take longer to go away. I am getting tired of this stuff. Heidi, I want to go on vacation with you. Where should we go?????? Someplace warm, sunny and with NO STRESS!! LOL Lu, Sorry to hear about your fall in the tub.
