Guest guest
Hello, I'm unable to comment on your particular case, of course, and only your own specialist will be able to tell you what is going on at the moment. As yet, I have no personal experience of pancreatic surgery. However, I do know from many contacts that it is relatively common for patients to have problems even after partial pancreatectomy. Pancreatic tissue can always give trouble! I'm sure people with personal experience will post answers to your questions but I just wanted to give a word of encouragement. Your problem at the moment doesn't mean that there won't be some solutions on offer, either medical or surgical, although I can well imagine how downhearted you must feel just now. Try to be positive (I know that sounds like preaching and it is NOT always easy to be positive)because your doc may have better news than you fear at the moment. I'm afraid it is not yet the case that the docs have simple or certain cures for panc problems. It may take time to address your needs now. Take care and good luck, Fliss
