Did any of you post-ops have a laparotomy scar,or any large scar above the

navel?Or do recall reading about someone who had one OR someone DrR had to

go open?I would like to speak to someone who has had the MGB that

has.BTW,yes I have one,and no it was not any type of WLS,and DrR has seen

it,and no it does not exclude me from surgery. It does, however, increase my

risks.I have hoped for a long time someone would come on line and tell THE

tale I NEED to hear, but alas,no.So,if you are lurking, please come forward to

the onelist or to me privately. It's ok not to have had a record breaking

time and out in 18 hrs.We CAN talk about imperfect things here.

Janet

Hi Janet,

Try e-mailing sherrymar1@.... Sherry responded to my question

about a gallbladder scar. I'm sure she would respond to you too. I

e-mailed her directly - she said she doesn't read the posts too ofter.

There's also a posting from yesterday or today from BigTBull@... -

he didn't give much information but said he had had the MGB after an

open gallbladder. I've also seen several postings over the last week

of some people who have said they had a lap gallbladder surgery prior

to the MGB.

I have actually gone to the egroups.com web site to search this e-

mail group's messages. You can put in a word or words and I think it

does a full text search of all the messages and presents a list of

messages with your search words in them. That's how I found Sherry's

e-mail address.
