Guest guest
Hi Chrissy, Sorry to hear the pain is back. I've been enjoying your posts ovr the last few days.....your reminiscing with Henry and your usual care for everyone. I do hope the old enemy goes away before New Year's Eve. I was fine up to Christmas Eve. That was bad for nausea but it was my own fault because I went out for a meal with a friend (meal was fine....I often have the same thing in the same restaurant) but she came back to my house and we chatted till gone 4.00 am!!! Since I (sadly) can't have as much as a glass of wine, I drove her home. I suffered the next day but made it through the various visits people made to us and made it to midnight Mass. Christmas Day was much better and Boxing Day was good. To-day I was fine...able to spend some money in the Sales! Tomorrow I have 10 for lunch...husband's family over from Yorkshire. I always enjoy their visits snd mine to them. Mustn't overeat. I've bought a whole salmon to bake. I should be OK with a small amount. Now I have to face THE DECISION. I think I'll ask for an appointment with Prof and cancel the Jan. 20th surgery. I just can't bring myself to go for the TP just yet....not while I'm feeling OK. And yet....and yet....I keep thinking about that 40% cancer risk. Perhaps mine is less since I don't smoke and smoking has been shown to increase the risk. Well Chrissy, I am so glad you weren't too bad for Christmas itself and I hope things settle again soon. Horrible condition isn't it? Wish they'd make some major breakthroughs. I'll be thinking about you and hoping for the best. Blessings and good wishes, Fliss
