Guest guest
Dear Joan, Welcome to the group. My name is Amber. My mom is 57 and has RP. We are having diffuculties now, which I will post to everyone after I email you. But I just wanted you to know that my mom is taking celexia for her depression. She has always been kind of against anti- depressents. But she really likes celexa. She does not experience side effects the other drugs have. And since she has been on 160 mgs of prednisone and now down to 40 mgs., you can understand that she now welcomes celexa into her life (along with other family members who are greatful for celexa, ha, ha). My mom took methotrexate. She always fell asleep while she took it. Beside that she felt that it wasn't so bad. She is on another course of meds. now though. As I am sure the others have told you, it is about finding the right combination for you. I am relatively new to the group as well, but I know we have found a group support group. \\ Take Care, Amber > WOW! I am so happy to be a part of your group.
