Guest guest
>> I mentioned earlier that I was using 's plain yogurt as a starter for my yogurt only to be told that it had bifidus which is illegal. I did not know that. I have since looked for it in the book and on the website, but can not find anywhere where it says that it is. << , I Googled on " 's Yogurt " , and found http://www.nancysyogurt.com/ Then I clicked on " Billions of live cultures... " and got http://www.nancysyogurt.com/making_our_products/live_cultures.php Then I scrolled down, and just under the picture of the guy squinting in a microscope. you'll see " B.Bifidum cultures " . There are two Yogourmet (Lyo-San) cultures. One is Yogourmet, the other is Casei Bifidus Acidopholus culture. Obviously, you don't want the second one. It looks like the Fage Greek Yogurt has S. thermophilus and L. Bulgaricus, so it would be legal. -- Marilyn (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA) Undiagnosed IBS 25 Years, SCD Five Years Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
