Thanks for the information, . This group has

so much knowledge and experience.

I have never seen a pulmonologist, do have a dx of RP,

and do have some shortness of breath. Maybe I will

have to ask one of my doctors for a referral.

However, now with this little office test that said

normal, I doubt that I can get one.

I did have the cough that you described before I got

put on medications. I used to lie in bed at night and

my husband could hear me coughing, all the way down

the hall, and over the TV. Dry and unproductive it

was, but man I could not get rid of it. Both of us

had begun to think that I did have asthma. The cough

is better now and only occurs infrequently. Like I

said to Dagny, it is so good to have this information

for future reference.

The only other doctor I have seen for RP is my eye

doctor. I did have a lot of eye involvement, which he

got under control...thank God.
