This group has so much knowledge and experience. I have never seen a pulmonologist, do have a dx of RP, and do have some shortness of breath. Maybe I will have to ask one of my doctors for a referral. However, now with this little office test that said normal, I doubt that I can get one. I did have the cough that you described before I got put on medications. I used to lie in bed at night and my husband could hear me coughing, all the way down the hall, and over the TV. Dry and unproductive it was, but man I could not get rid of it. Both of us had begun to think that I did have asthma. The cough is better now and only occurs infrequently. Like I said to Dagny, it is so good to have this information for future reference. The only other doctor I have seen for RP is my eye doctor. I did have a lot of eye involvement, which he got under control...thank God. Take care, and thanks again for your information. Love, squeek ===== __________________________________________________
