Fruit smoothie base ideas?

I am wanting to try fruit smoothies but I am having difficulty coming

up with a base ingredient. We tried coconut milk yesterday and it is

not tolerated. We are not yet doing much yogurt. I would like to get

some calories in. He is eating a pound of meat a day and has been for

2 weeks plus and has gained one pound. Thanks!

Hi Mandy,

We don't do yogurt yet either. I make smoothies with frozen

blueberries (or other frozen fruit) plus one very ripe banana. You

can add a little juice (we use organic pear by Knudsen) to make it

whip up easier. That's it. Very simple.
