YOur little holiday sounds absolutely perfect. I would love that

ferris wheel. That is one of the few rides I like. How will you

beat that when his birthday rolls around?? I spoke with Angel

Flight and it does appear that they will provide transportation. I

am very relieved by that as the expenses for this entire venture may

be staggering. My insurance company may treat this as an out of

network provider and pay on 80%. We'll see. I have excellent

insurance and as yet have not been billed by my hospital for one

penny. Knock on wood!!! Thats been 3 years since I started with

this mess. I am very emotionally relieved as well that this whole

nightmare will be behind me once and for all. I just hope I dont

end up a brittle diabetic and have to be on complete disability. I

want to go back to work. I became a nurse when I was 35 years old.

Third career really. I truly believe that God inteneded for me to

become a nurse. I cant imagine he would take it away after all the

hard work I did to get my BSN and the short 8 years I have been

working. The stent is supposed to drain the panc and decrease the

pain and prevent further damage. Hopefully sparing damage to any

islet cells. It must be getting clogged because the pain is

creeping back into play. Sorry this is so jumbled together but I

couldn't get my hard return (enter) button to work and couldn't make

paragraphs. Yesterday, I plugged in the vacuum and blew my computer

up, blew ever surge protector I had plugged in. Had to go through

each one and figure out which one was shot and not. Well at least

it got me off my butt. Do you have the rest of the week off? So

you can recover fully from that wild weekend in the big city. You

didn't say if Jim found any interesting books. Or did ya'll fall

victim to the hedonistic call of the bright lights in the big city

forsaking all ventures of a thought provoking nature. (I'll have to
