I live near Centerville Ohio. It is about 30 miles away from my home in

Springfield Ohio. I have done acupuncture for about 2 years for my Sphincter of

oddi Dysfunction. My pancreas has had some changes and I have some pancreatic

type of pain along with my SOD, but I have not officially been diagnosed with

pancreatitis. I am trying everything i can not to develope full blown

pancreatitis. My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer so i am very cautious

about my pancreas.

Columbus ohio is about 35 miles from me in the other direction. I live between

Dayton and Columbus which is convenient for me.

And yes the acupuncture has been very helpful for me, it very much decreases the

amount of pain meds that I need to take, which is a blessing. Unfortunately

insurance does not pay for it. But I do it anyway as I notice a big difference

if I do not go for my monthly prick ! ( smile )

Dear Lily,

When you say Centerville, do you mean in Ohio or the one in

Indiana? I have relatives around Centerville, Richmone, Lynn, and

Winchester In. and my son lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Have you used acupunture treatment for the pancreatitis and has it

helped? My daughter has had it for over 6 years and keeps getting

worse and I like to check out anything that might be helpful to her.
