Guest guest
Thanks Sandy, and all. I will try the whey protein. I got some Slim Fast, Carnation breakfast drink powder, and some new drink I found by the juice that says it's a protein, vitamin and mineral supplement. It's called NuVim. No juice in it but lots fo vitamins, protein and other things. Worth a try. The whey protein may be a good one for me since I can only tolerate very small meals. Not being able to eat much at all along with the malabsorption and not being able to take the enzymes is a triple whammy so I appreciate the help. Has anyone tried acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine. Since drugs have not helped me with pain or the malabsorption I've thought about it. I was wondering if anyone tried it and got positive results. If I DO have pancreatitis, I am in early stage so I guess I'm hoping it would prevent damage to be pancreas and sort of stop things where they are. Thanks again to everyone for the ongoing advice and support. I'm so glad I found this message board. Pancreatitis can be a lonely thing to deal with! Happy New Year to all...
