Guest guest
It is exactly like that. I'm fine as long as I'm sitting but walking or standing for anything over about 5 minutes becomes excruciatingly painful. I have a referral from my PCP for the chiropractor, but because I have been having such a miserable time getting over this last flare which has been going on since thanksgiving, the PCP said to go if I feel up to it, but she'd rather I rest & take care of myself. Therefore I rarely go shopping because I can't do it. My husband has taken me to the mall with the wheelchair. I do go to lunch with friends from where I used to work but that is a short distance & I don't have to walk or stand. I try to get out at least once a week just to keep my sanity. My poor husband is stuck doing laundry because my legs are also weak & because I have been having the dizzy spells the dr's don't want me on the steps. He also loads & unloads the dishwasher & does most all household chores because I just can't. I don't know what I'll do. Does your Dr. say anything about this? I've got a couple of busy weeks with Dr visits but I will check out the chiropractor in the next couple of weeks to see if I get any relief.
