Guest guest
I am sorry, that wasn't very plain. You should call the make a wish foundation. Not the CF foundation. Make a wish will then get in contact with your CF doctor to determine your child's eligibility. Tina W Make A Wish > > > It is 25 days till our M.A.W. Trip. Guest guest
Hi there, The person who said to call the Wish Foundation is right . But be aware there are several But most use the Children's Wish Foundation. . They will first contact you , then will send or bring you forms to fill out . The doc must sign . Certifying there is a catastrophic illness & that the trip will not endanger the health . They will ask you or the child what their wish is. it must be the child's wish. so you might want to talk about it prior to their visit at your home. They do not take $$ in the major consideration . It isn't like Medicaid:):) They really have it for all. They must NOT be over 18 years old , so do it now. However , they cant be too young either.......... Once the paper work is in & doc signs, If they ask if he can predict how long the person will live. he should say NO ONE can do that BUT it is a catastrophic illness & they don't grow out of it !! Don't be skirmish about that question.-Just go for the wish granted !! The Wish folks will review it, again -generally-not always-, visit & get the wish on order. They make all the arrangements. Flights, hotel, spending $$, etc.attraction tickets, etc. All kids don't want to go to Disney .Some , my granddaughter wanted a computer for college...They were late in getting back to her , so we all pooled the cost so she would have it when she went .so they presented her with $1000 for books & school clothes(which was a godsend !!) She is in the mountains & it is cold & clothes are expensive. Her books were sooo expensive. She is getting them at semester changes. (also trying to get used ones too). ANYWAY..DO IT TODAY ............. LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV Make A Wish > > > It is 25 days till our M.A.W. Trip.
