Guest guest
Thanks, , it does help! You and some of the others are talking about pred eye drops. I'm going to ask my Dr. about it this morning. The problem is, there's a question if I'm allergic to the Prednisone, and if that's the case, I'd be afraid to try it in my eyes. This is so confusing! Hope your Tuesday is a very good one! Do you know of anyone else whohas had eye involvement? Hi, Carol,When I was first diagnosed with RP, I also had the eye involvement. Mine was diagnosed as scleritis in one eye and episcleritis in the other eye. My eyes were bloodshot, hurt like the devil, my eyesight changed, the pressure in my eyes changed for the worse and any kind of light was intolerable. I kept the window curtains closed and absolutely didn't turn on any lights in the house. It was not comfortable in any way; however, treatment with pred eye drops seemed to clear it up over several weeks. I now have my Ophthalmologist (sp) check my eyes every six months routinely. Hope this helps. We're here for you.Take care, T. DISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY.
