Dear Sandy, No, I haven't had any trouble after an EUS but I did want to remind you that you need to contact your doctor as soon as possible and let him/her know about this. While a day or two of this gag reflex many be normal after the procedure, it shouldn't be continuing this long, and your doctor really needs to know about it. I'm sure you've already contacted him, but just wanted to remind you in case you were thinking it might go away, or didn't want to trouble him prematurely. I know we often do this (don't call and complain) after a procedure, thinking it will pass, but in this instance, you really should! I hope the problem is a temporary one and that you start feeling better soon. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep. PAI, Intl.
