Guest guest
Hi All; Sandy I read your email about your son and his rages. I am now thinking this is a good term to describe my 2 yo daughter's behaviour. She has SEVERE tantrums throughout the day (above and beyond terrible twos). She will go on and on. I was hoping the SCD would help with her behaviour. Although we are still quite new (1 month into diet) I have not noticed any improvement in her behaviour. She is not a spoiled child by any means. We usually try to ignore her tantrums and put her in her room to scream. We can't go out because she will scream like we are killing her if she can't walk in the direction she wants. Meal times are horrendous and usually result in at least one sustained tantrum. How long did it take for you to notice an improvement in your son's behaviour after starting SCD? Thanks, Kim 1 month dairy-free SCD 3 yo ASD, 2 yo NT
Guest guest
Hi Kim We noticed a difference in Tobias in the first week. Life is not perfect but sooooooo much better. Having a raging child is very exaughsting. I do not believe your child is spoiled. This was something that was said to me about Tobias in many different ways. The thing is when you have a child with a leaky gut the normal discaplines don't work because in reality they are getting the same thing as a drug injected into their system on a consistent timing. For a time I felt like the worst parent alive and I have raised 3 birth children to adult hood and proviced child care for many other children. I had never dealt with a child like Tobias. We have had to look at a couple of thing further like phenols and using no phenol to help with this. I also have him on some SCD legal suppliments that have helped. I think we are going through a 5 month die off right now and things have been pretty rough again the last week or so but still nothing like it used to be. I hope and pray that you see change really soon. Sandy M. > > Hi All; > > Sandy I read your email about your son and his rages.
