Guest guest
Hi Tammy, Excuse me for butting-in to your conversation. Are you aware that an ERCP can cause an Acute attack of Pancreatitis? I mention this because I suffered, and I mean suffer, through a number of ERCPs and was hospitalized at least a week after each procedure. Maybe that's why your doc is dragging his feet. Consider an MRCP which visualizes your pancreatic ducts, but is non-invasive. I could be wrong about your doc and you know best what to do for your body, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. I'd hate to see you, or anyone for that matter, suffer like I did after those procedures. That is why I mention it. Best Regards, Jerry/NC ***************************************************** EUS/ERCP > I'm going against my GI doctor's wishes and getting the ERCP done, > which was the recommendation from Dr. Pappas at Duke.
