Guest guest
Hi All, I had good news this past Monday. My GI doctor told me that my labs were basicly normal. My ANA and ANA titer were abnormal but said he didn't think it was anything to worry about. He said the test was borderline high. My CT did NOT show any inflammation of the pancreas on the outside. He did say that my pacreatitits was most likely caused by the SOD. He seemed to think the last attack last Wednesday was caused by the duct starting to become blocked again. I'm just glad that I went to see this doctor for a 2nd opinion because the GI who diagnosed me said that I had PROGRESSING PANCREATIC CIRROSIS. Since I was having alot of pain he decided to put me on Oxycontin 40mg and I was to take the Oxycodone for breakthrough pain. It has helped tremendously except it makes me very sleepy. I have a 45min drive to work and it is soo hard to stay awake. I can't afford to take anymore time off. I'm just fortunate that I have a office manager who is understanding and will let me leave any day or any time for Dr. Appointments and testing. I think God is looking over me.(kinda corney but true) Feelin Good in Corydon Indiana Patty J
