Vent

Normally I don't use the board to vent, but I really need to vent. Normally

my husband trys to be really supportive. But I've heard out of his mouth

one too many times, how much " our lives have changed " I'm just going to

scream. Well, actually I did scream this morning. I've been having a bad

couple of days, I even had to call my doctor to double up yesterday, and

this morning my husband decides we should discuss my medication. He's very

concerned that I'm taking oxycontin, how addictive it is etc...which we all

know, but it also works so well, it's the only thing that has helped my

pain. Anyway, what do you say to someone when they say this to you? It's

like the understatement of the century! I get hurt and mad and frustrated.

I know it's changed his life, of course, as soon as he's says something he

wishes he could take it right back, this morning, I'm just not in the mood

to take it back. Believe me, I really, really try to understand how it's

changed my life, and I'm doing the best I can for him to have a normal life,

but many days that is just not possible. I'm not the same girl he married,

and I'm sorry for that, but it's not like I can help it. I'm crying as I

write this because I'm so upset. How can I even promise him that it will

get better? There's a good chance it won't get better, at 45 years old

that's pretty depressing. What do I tell him?
