Well I just returned from looking at wigs. When I woke up this

morning there was more hair in the bed than on my head. Pretty soon I

will be able to paint my head black and write 8 on it like a pool

ball. This is the most difficult thing for me. The wig I am looking

at his straight , chin length, parted down the middle with bangs.I

have never looked at them before and was surprised at the prices. I

went to a shop that dealt in chemo patients.So there wigs have

natural looking scalps, and soft insides for people with no hair at

all. The one I may get cost $295. Is that alot for a wig? But if the

cytoxan has caused this and I have to be on it for a long time then I

guess I want something that looks natural. You cant really tell by my

picture I sent but I have straight hair and it is down (OR WAS) to my

shoulders. I also bought a hat to wear if I go somewhere during the

day. Thats if I will ever feel good enough to go anywhere.

I have been off the predisone for a month now and am having all kinds

of problems. I went from 1000 a day, to 280, to 80 and then down 10

every week. Then nothing. Now my throat is hurting bad, breathing

difficut at times, short winded, and every joint hurts, weakness all

over The legs feel like they are to heavy to pick up.

I asked the Dr. when the old is coming back and he said never.
