Hi. I'm new here. I'm interested in SCD. I've ordered some almond flour. I

was wondering, " is it easier to make your own flour? " It seems so expensive to

buy it. I've got on www.mannaharvest.net and bought a five lb bag. I thought

somewhere it says we are to have blanched almonds is that right? Also what are

the rules with coconut flour, macademia flour? We've not started yet since I

haven't got my book yet. Really want to experiment. It occurred to me if I had

found out about a diet called SCD maybe my gall bladder would not have had to be

removed. Really makes me wonder since I'm still having bouts of stomach trouble

and very concerned I may have intestinal and/or yeast issues as well. I do have

a son with ASD. So far have tried little interventions. Finally convinced my

husband that SCD is definitely worth a try. I figure if nothing else we would

all be healthier. My husband is skeptical but I'm the go-getter with all the

autism research I've been

doing. Any advice I'd be glad to hear. Also from what I've seen on

pecanbread.com it seems that the Blue Diamond " Almond Breeze " milk is probably

going to be " illegal " even thought there is a new unsweetened version just being

marketed.

Thanks for your time.

April.
