Sharyn, I'm so glad that you are getting a handicap sign. I don't always use

mine, but let me tell you there are days I'm really glad I have it.

Great news about the new med for your diabetes. I'm so glad it is working.

sorry you are having such a time with your hip. Isn't wonderful what those

shots can do for about a month. Oh the relief. LOL

I'm really sorry about Ida Sue. Gosh she sounds like a wonderful lady. I

will keep her in my thoughts and prayers and hope that she has a full

recovery.

Sharyn, maybe your boss is so cold to you because she can't face the fact

that you are sick. Maybe she's in denial and by being mean, she doesn't have

to face reality. I had a few friends and family members who did just that.

Even my sister for a while. They just cut me off because it was better not

hearing about me being sick. I felt like I had lost all my friends. Finally

I confronted them and the true friends came back and the rest that couldn't

handle it just went away. I really do believe that it is just as hard or

harder for family and friends. Ask Heidi. LOL Just a thought as to maybe

why she is treating you so badly. I know it hurts either way.

Hope you get to feeling great soon. The hot flashes are the pits. Hang in

there, there has to be an answer to all of our problems, we just haven't

found them yet. LOl

hugs

Hi everyone

Read where a lot of us are having back pain and trouble walking.

Tell me about it. Feels like someone keeps hitting my back with a

baseball bat at times. With the Osteoarthritis <sp> in my right hip

that makes it tuff in itself to walk. Then I have this burning in

both my knees.

My doctor finally signed the paperwork for me to get my handicap

sticker and will be mailing it in tomorrow. Have tried to tuff it

out, but I cannot even make it through a darn mall anymore. This

years Christmas was done over the internet or one of our local store

like Dollar General or Big Lots.

I walk like an old lady too. The doctor gave me a shot in my hip

which has helped for about a month, but looks like I'll be getting

another one real soon. He said I'm going to need a hip replacement,

but I want to wait until I can no longer stand it. Dang..54 and

needing a hip replacement.

I've been having those hot flashes really bad this week. Don't know

if he will up the Presidone or what. I'm down to 15mg right now,

but seems like I go up and down on how I feel. At least I can eat

again and am eating mostly salads and fruits. The new medication

for my Diabetes seems to be working. My blood sugar was down to 157

which is good since it's been in the upper 200's.

Sure hope this new primary doctor I will be going to is better. I

love Dr , but she never took me seriously. I really think

she just didn't know or understand.

Think I know why my boss has been such a rotten witch to me. She

snapped at me again today, but I found out when I was leaveing today

that her sister (whom I know and love dearly) had a heart attack and

isn't doing well. She has Diabetes big time and her heart is giving

out. However, she needs to see how she is acting toward me. This

is the same woman who is cold toward me regarding my RP. Sorry, I'm

not that way and will never be that way. I stopped and got a get

well card and this cute little yellow duck which I'll give to my

boss to take to her sister. Would like to give it to her myself,

but she's in ICU and only family members are allowed in. Ida Sue is

a very warm and lovely lady and I will miss her should she not make

it.

Well enough of sad news. I had a fairly good day today except for

the hot flashes. Dang face, ears and neck turn bright red. Is this

what happens to the rest of you and is this what you refer to as

flaring?

Well, need to get to bed.

hugs to all of you

Sharyn
