I find the only thing that helps is to stay in reasonable shape, meaning making sure my back muscles are strong and reasonably supple. Lifting weights helps quite a bit, in fact, it's the only thing that helps. But like everyone else, I fall off the wagon and don't take care of my back like I should. Mine is bothering me lately, too. Maybe it's the time of the season for this to happen?
