I sure sounds like you have RP. Darn doctors anyway. There is/are not tests to confirm RP. The doctors just diagnose by the symptoms. I have only had ear and nose involvement and a few other exterior areas. When I was diagnosed early on I only had ear involvement. Only....that was bad enough. Ears about drive you crazy. Can't lay down with out touching and ear. Try to go to another dr. and see what they think. You need to be treated and get on the right meds and not ignored. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Also will be sending thoughts that a doctor will pay attention to you! Gish!!!! Lots of love Glenda Saw Rheumy one more time, she still doesn't think I have RP and is just hoping it will go away on its own. She also said, although very far fetched, that maybe I have a food allergy though she didn't really think so. I'm now on no drugs for the ears,(though I have been popping ibuprofin when I feel one of my ears start to burn, it really isn't helping I fear) and have no doc appointments scheduled. What do you all think? This sound like RP or something else? I'm interested in your opinions and advice.
