Guest guest
Dear Keri, Tearful once again after reading your post.....I don't know what it is, all these happy tears this week, but when I feel incredibly happy I cry! It's just a thrill to me that you are able to do things with your children now and able to have the quality time with them while they're at this age. When I was your age my two children, and , were 6 and 3. Those years were some of the best of all with their development, yet it required a 24 hour a day mom to keep pace with everything they were doing. I can only imagine how frustrating and hopeless your life must have seemed with the CP wearing you down at every turn. It's such a blessing that the TP-ICT has become such a positive sugical option available to CP patients, especially the young ones. I also call the procedure life-giving. Now that you've been given this second chance, I know we won't hear from you so much because you will be busy living and enjoying your family, and that's as it should be, and wonderful to think about. You must remember to drop in every once in a while, though, and share your story with other newbies like you once were. Your successes need to be shared with others so they can know that this procedure is a chance for hope for them, too! So take care, sweet Keri.....hug those kiddies and that wonderful husband of yours and get on with your life! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
