Guest guest
Hey Everybody! I have just gotten back from my appointment with my PCP, Dr. . We started with my tryglicerides. They fell from 1160 to 700, but he is still concerned so he put me on Tricor 200 mg. We started talking about the surgery. He read the letter that Dr. Rutledge has for all doctors and wanted to know where I found him. I told him and he wanted to know if I have been to see him because of the insurance letter. I told him no. He was VERY impressed with Dr. Rutledge's protocall. He backs me 100%, but he said he will not fight the insurance company for me. He said he didn't need that headache. I agree. This doctor is very, very busy. Anyway, he said he would approve me for surgery and when the insurance approves me he wants me to come in and he will do the EKG, etc. He also stated that the Bariatric Surgeon in Columbus, Georgia is on the Board of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia and I " might " get some flack from him. So my question is this.....I printed out another copy of the insurance letter that Dr. R. sent me. And Dr. has dictated me a letter also, so do I need to read my enrollment forms from my insurance first and see what they say or just send the insurance letter in. Thanks in advance, King
