Guest guest
Judith, I don't recall having seen either Goody powder or BC powder in the Pacific Northwest. It is definitely a Southern 'THANG'.Basically it is CRUSHED Excedrin(I pick that brand for its caffeine content),or headache powder wrapped in wax paper and you pour it into your mouth. My ex used to take them,it made me have a gag reflex just to watch.Personally when selecting southern 'THANGS' I would rather pick something like nabs or peanuts poured in a pepsi(glass bottle only)lol Janet > >Reply-To: MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com >To: <MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com> >Subject: MGB >Date: Tue, 8 Aug 2000 21:19:02 -0700 > >: > >I've never heard of 'Goody Powders,' is it a pill? The Goody Powder is what we take for headaches. We also have BC powders and Stanback powders (if they still make those) It amazes me still that the things I take for granted being from the south is not everywhere. I still can't believe there are people who don't know what grits and red-eye gravy are. Guest guest
Looks like they may have taken the www.minigastricbypass.com site off the air. It wasn't there when I looked this morning. Well...Well...Well must have been worried about getting sued. Robin insurance approved in network and working to get my packet in soon.
