Guest guest
The new medications on the market are miraculous for depression. Anyone who thinks they are experiencing significant depression should see a psychiatrist ASAP. Counselors CANNOT prescribe medications. Psychiatrists can. Depression is often the result of a chemical imbalance. The medications usually given for depression do NOT make you feel drugged - they simply make you feel normal. Go see your doctor or a psychiatrists. Though a PCP may have some experience prescribing meds for depression no doctor beats a psychiatrist for his in depth, up-to-the-minute knowledge on the latest, most effective medications. Good Luck.
