Bert I am so sorry you had such a difficult time and am glad to know

that you are improving, physically and emotionally. I hope they

will be able to treat it medically. I know exactly how you feel,

the anxiety of being cut again can be trememdous. Every time I see

the surgeon my bp goes through the roof. The nurses get all " oh no "

but he knows he gives me hypertension. Fliss I was confused by what

your GI had said, was he upset that you had a scan or that there

were no changes. His suggestion to not rush is a good one, but your

decision so difficult that you are just going to have to trust your

heart and weigh all the options. Didn't you say you had a date

already scheduled in January? Heidi, hows the tooth, better I

hope. Kimber do you know when you will start to receive you

benefits from SSI? Soon I hope, you certainly deserve it. Oh, btw,

I have had so many CT's that they know me by name there and even

know how to stick me. I had another scan on thursday, it was nice

to catch up. Even though that barium makes me so sick. I haven't

been feeling much better, the temp seems to be going down and I

thought I was doing all right. I went into Walmart today to pick up

the last few things for the children and I was strolling along with

my cart and all of the sudden this piercing stab went right through

me. I know I must have gasped out loud because people stopped and

looked and I was just frozen there for what seemed like an hour.

One lady seemed to try to walk over but I took a deep breathe and

just smiled and walked on. I have been very sore since. Poncho you

are absolutely right about the dynamics of this desease. Sometimes

I can push a cart or have an egg sandwich and sometimes I cant. I

do have one question in regard to dieticians. Aren't they the ones

who determine what food is served in the hospitals...*S*? I hope

you all have a wonderful holiday with memories that will linger as a

smile for years to come.

Warmly
