Guest guest
I know you guys have said this board is used to and ok with poop questions, so here goes! Does mucus in the stool just indicate irritation, or can it be something that needs to be checked out, like parasites? I suspect a problem with our water supply at our old home- every couple of months I would get extremely bloated and have sulphuric, lighter-than-air yucky burps, and then an attack of diarrhea. I still occasionally get the bloating , a bit of gastro upset and mucus in my stools- with the mucus occurring a lot even when I feel just fine. I have only been on the SCD for a little over a week, so I'm not expecting healing that rapidly. I'm just wondering if there's something going on that needs to be addressed that's beyond the scope of SCD. One doctor mentioned the possibility of Giardia. Any thoughts?
