Guest guest
For the veterans out there -- my almost 5-yr old son has been on strict SCD for 20 mos. (I'm so strict that I even use different microwaves & refrigerators for non-SCD foods!) Although I think SCD is very healthy and has helped to heal his leaky gut, I am still mystified by something. He continues to have clostridia in his gut (according to the OATS & MAP testing by both Great Plains and Great Smokies), as well as a variety of bacterial infections shown in his stools (according to Doctor's Data and Great Smokies CDSAs) -- strep bacteria, pseudomonas, citrobacter freundii, etc. I'm wondering if others have seen the same thing, or if others have seen an eradication of (or at least a decrease in) gut bacteria. Theoretically, that should happen on SCD, right? If you can help to enlighten me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Angie
