Talked to my PCP tonight

Hi everyone

I have posted once or twice but read all the posts everyday. My

PCP called me tonight telling me he got the results back from the

lab. He said it's a go for the surgery however that my blood sugar

level was high and told me to be careful and watch out for

thirstyness, urinating a lot and loss of weight rapidly for no

reason. He also told me to go see a optimologist within the next

6months. My cousin who is not overweight just was told he had

diabetes and he is on my fathers side of the family. My dad's side

of the family has a history not only with diabetes but obesity. Well

then I told him that I will be seeing him tomorrow anyways because I

came down with a really bad sore throat today (that is why I am up at

this time of night). He said that could be the reason for my blood

sugar being high. Either way is said it is a go for surgery and I

should be getting my letter from him within the next few days!!

YIPPEE. After I read Dr. R's post about turning down some people I

am going to take my time and go over EVERYTHING again, I don't want

to come this far and have it turned down and then have to redo it.

Well, I know this is getting long, I am just so excited.
