Recent Post-Ops and Pre-Ops

If, after surgery, you begin to get a " funny " taste in your mouth

(mine was a metallic taste, although hubby wanted to know how I knew

what metal tastes like!) and your tongue begins to look strange, go

to the doctor quickly! I have thrush, which I understand isn't

uncommon after having a tube down your throat, but I waited until my

soft pallet turned blood red and I couldn't hardly drink anything but

water or milk because it burned! I started medicine on Friday (they

gave me lozenges to melt in my mouth), and I still can't drink my

juices.

Glad to hear you're doing well, Stormy! Maybe I can meet you & Dinah

before you leave. Being raised in Alabama, I'm still partial to

fellow Bamians.
