Thanks Kaye that is really good information. I knew animals could

get pancreatitis but thought it was genetic. I have already changed

the diet of my family a long time ago so the scraps haven't been too

bad for the animals but during the holidays we tend to go a bit

overboard. Poor puppies, guess I'll just have to tell Santa to

bring a few extra bones.

Thanks again Kaye and Merry Christmas to you and your family too.

Seems they can get pancreatitis quicker than we can!

Kaye,

That is soooo true. My cat IS my family,as she is there with me when

no one else is. Especially those long sleepless nights that seem to

come every so often. And she curls at my feet when I head to bed, but

if I stay awake too long she will come to the head of the bed and

look at me as if to say, " what's wrong? how come you're not sleeping?

is there anything I can do to help? " We usually end up cuddling for

awhile while I tell her all about it. The best part is, she never

comes back with those stupid comments we have all heard that are

supposed to be helpful...but are really hurtful ,that tend to come

from some of our human families. No judgement,no thinking we are

making it all up...just pure, unconditional love and acceptance. Just

what we need on those really bad days and nights.

Be Blessed Y'all!
