Hi Joan!

I also only have 1/2 thyroid left, due to Hashimoto's disease,

diagnosed about 15 years ago. I am on Paxil and have been since

before I was diagnosed a month ago, but really find that

the " temptation " to get depressed due to this illness is enough to

keep me on the meds for now.

I'm sorry to hear that your work life is so impacted, and I can

relate. I'm hoping that once the metho kicks in (I've only been on

it for a month) I will be able to be at work more than about the 70%

I've been managing.

I was only diagnosed with RP a month ago, so this is all new to me.

I had the ear flares for over three years before that, but it was

misdiagnosed.
