OCD - Help!

Hi All,

I'm new here. I have a celiac daughter (2.5) years who is benefitting from

SCD - we've been on it for about 2 months. I put her 4 year old sister on the

diet

too because she seems to have a problem with gluten and other food allergies

as well. As far as I know, neither are ASD.

All of a sudden, the 4 year old has been acting way different than normal. She

acts like she has OCD. She is constantly cleaning - adjusting the pillows on

the couch,

fixing the carpets in the bathroom, checking the floors for toys, turning off

the computer

monitor, and closing doors. All the cleaning is helpful (I admit), however, it

is worrisome.

This is what I saw tonight:

She went into the bathroom to turn off the light and adjust the bench (to stand

on for washing hands).

As she was walking out of the bathroom she got a few steps out the door, turned

around

with a jerk and said, " One more time. " She repeated this sequence six times or

so before feeling comfortable to go to bed. It literally looked like someone

was jerking her body around. She also had to make sure every stuffed animal was

in place, closet closed, nothing under the bed, etc. She was also laughing

hysterically and being a bit agressive toward my 7 month old.

I am completely puzzled! She's never acted so strange before. Could this be

related to the 2 month die-off? Is this related to yeast? Other than this, she

has never acted strangely.

Thanks for your help!
