Guest guest
Patty Could you sent the glutamate stuff to me too? Very interested. Pls send to eswee@... Rob's mom Re: glutamate/GABA imbalance in ASD , I think the message you read was referring to foods that have naturally high levels of glutamate... not referring to foods with added MSG (mono-sodium glutamate) or other additive sources of glutamates. Avoidance of natural glutamates in foods is not really part of SCD, but I know it's important for some kids. I'm sorry I really don't know much about the issue. I think it is very difficult to avoid ALL foods that contain glutamates. I have saved some past messages on the subject that may help. I will send them to you privately. Patti glutamate/GABA imbalance in ASD Hi I was reading a mail about some food wich have glutamate like salmon, apples, tomatoes... I'm not sure but it refers to freshsalmon, fresh apples and fresh tomatoes? or maybe it refers to food do not made in home? because my son eats fresh salmon 1 or 2 times a week, and I'm a SCD begginer and I have given him apples in small quantities for first time after more than a year without it. We began since May 24th with the CSD but the seizures have not stopped. I know the glutamate is like a bomb to my son...Some body can help me? __________________________________________________ Correo Yahoo! Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis!
