Liver Problem Finale - Got Home Today!!!

Hi Dear Gang o' mine,

Monday the 14th was my surgery, today I made it home. Ouch Ouch Ouch...

Just about 20 minutes before surgery, Dr Shikora came to tell me that the

written liver report he receiced that said my liver was fine....was not the

last report, he thought it was. He had the best of the best in the hospital

go over my ultrasound and yes...there was a spot. So...he told me that he

would go ahead with the liver ultrasound after I was opened and then do a

biopsy. He actually did three biopsy's to make absoluletly sure. And the

only thing they proved was that I had a fatty liver, no cancer. I couldn't

thank God enough!!!

So I am home and in a world of hurt, but I am home!!! I have two drains, one

I have to drain, and a visiting nurse will be coming by every day to check on

my drains. (sorry if I'm too wordy or not making much sense, pain killers

can be a -itch)

I will write more when my brain isn't in such a fog. Love to you all my
