Hi! I'm not a doctor but I don't understand why your wife's doc

would have her take calcium supplements. If I'm wrong, I hope

someone corrects me but...I think hypercalcemia (high serum calcium

levels) is something that you want to avoid. Too much calcium

stimulates the production of digestive enzymes.

Here's some links that I found helpful & easy to understand. There's

some other info but all 3 discuss calcium as it relates to the
