Guest guest
Hi Heidi, You'll be sorry you ask what's going on!!!!!!! Just kidding--It's good to be back. Thank you for my warm welcome back. I surely hope that you will be able to get the RX mess straighten out tomorrow with your doctor. The reason I was off for so long was due partly busy with the holidays and the major reason was my dear sister Lynn illness. It seamed that I had a very hard time dealing with it,since she is only 59 & since she lives so far away, and I felt so helpless. But she is doing better now. It November, she have surgery for a growth on her ovary and it turned out to be Ovarian Cancer, which I wasn't expecting. I just felt that she had a cyst like I had in the past that needed surgery. I never dreamed, it would turn out to be Cancer. But she is recovering well. If fact, I talked to her tonight and she has her 3rd round of Chemo tomorrow. She feels that she is going to beat this and I do too. If attitude has anything to do with her recovery, that she will certainly be Cancer Free. She is the most positive, I have ever ran across. Maybe someday, she'll rub off on me. My sister-in-law, also has Cancer. She is just 56 and it started out to be Lung and has now spread to her Bones, which isn't very good. She had to have Emergency surgery on December 29, as her Colon had rapture, and the never expected for her to make it our of the hospital. I think they only gave my brother , a 5% survival rate for her from the surgery, but I'm happy to report that she made it home on Jan 9th. She is very week and in all lot of pain from the Cancer and due to fact that they can't sew hew up due to the infection, She has to heal from the inside out. Today is my brother and her Anniversary. They have been married 35 years. Between Christmas and New Years, I had my Mother to the ER twice, She was very Dizzy and couldn't walk right. She was very scared that she was having a stroke, but it just turned out to be an inner ear infection. She is doing much better now. I guess, when you get older, you worry about things like that. As for the Girls, they are both doing good right now. ( the Youngest) & have just started to remodel there kitchen and dining room of the new house they moved into last May. They have the house fixed up like a Doll House. It's so Nice. Elissa, (the Oldest) was having all lot of Upper Right Quadrant Pain in October. Does this sound familiar anyone? Of course I felt it was Gall Bladder, which she was told was bad 2 years ago. Well , after 2 trips 9 Friday afternoon & Sunday 11pm, they finally admitted her to the hospital to get the pain under control. Her test came back negative, of course, she just like her Mother, unfortunately. Well they did test her Amylase and Lipase, at Mom's suggestion, and it ok. But they never did get to they bottom of her problems. She is feel better now. It has settled down on it own---Until this week when she has an EUS. It should be interesting to see if that flares up anything. It always with me. I hope she be ok with the test. My husband, Ed is just Great----Thanks heavens for one stable person in my life. Sorry this turn out so long. I guess , I just could handle any more problems, when I found out about my sister illness, so that's why I haven't been around for awhile. I'm Sorry, that I was off for so long. but I back now and did miss you all. Even throw I was online, I did keep all my pancreatitis friends in my prayers. Now for Good News, my sister daughter , who got married last February, in FL and I got to go to her Wedding, is expecting her First Baby - A BOY the end of February and everything is going, fine--Thank Heavens. That's it, for my update. Heidi, I'm sure your sorry that you ask, what's been going on. I do hope you feel better very soon, and get the results from your doctor that you need tomorrow.
