Guest guest
I usually forget to ask the most important questions when it comes to doctor's appointments, and if I do write them down, usually forget to take them with me *L*..I had an appointment with a surgical oncologist today about my upcoming surgery, and I wrote a long list of questions, both from me and my husband, got there, and had to put it down when my daughter fell asleep in my arms...hence, I didn't refer to it at all, and I was so amazed at myself..I managed to ask every single question that was on the list..remembering the answers was the hard part *L*..I remembered most of it..of course, because my hubby couldn't be there with me, I took a small recorder to tape the consult, but put that in my back pocket to keep my little girl from getting hold of it..then forgot it was there..grrrrrrrr...but I do know everything I need to know so that's all that matters *s*
Guest guest
Hi , Was that two weeks from when they received the impressions or two weeks from when they shipped the finished shoe and brace? I was thinking that when they finish it, I would just have them charge me more to FedEx it so it would arrive in a day or two. I am looking forward to using them although the Markells haven't given us any trouble. Thanks ! Halley Re: shoe fit question I'm not sure, but doesn't this mean that her heels are just fitting better into the back of the shoe now? I noticed the same thing with Hayden - he started out closer to the edge of his s and now his feet are farther back because his dorsiflexion has improved and they fit much better. Do your shoes have the holes punched out of the inside heel so you can see her foot (heel)? You would be able to tell if her foot was flat or if she was lifting it. Of course I am not expert here because I am just as new to this as you are, so perhaps I'll leave it to the others now! P.S. If your shoes don't have the peekhole, you should ask your orthotist to do it - it makes a WORLD of difference! It seemed like I used to be able to get her foot to go down into the shoe more easily than I can now. How I measure is by how close her foot comes to the edge of the shoe. It seems like now her toes don't come as close to the edge as they did initially. I think I am getting them on pretty tight, but it's hard to tell. Any ideas or thoughts about this? Thanks very much! Guest guest
I believe it was two weeks from the day the impressions were sent. However, they sent us the wrong ones and the new ones only took about a week. We had good success with the Markells as well and I am happy to know they are there for back up if ever there was a problem, but we are really enjoying the s - he has been even more mobile since he got into them.
