Having been an occupational health nurse, I have more knowledge

about drug testing than one could possibly want to know.

When a potiental employer does drug testing, it is to look for

ILLEGAL drugs of abuse. If if the potiental employee has

prescription medication it listed on the chain of custody form (all

medications taken should be listed) The medication should be the

orignal bottles with the patient name and the drug prescribed listed

and the physician name.

I can assure you that they are looking for things like THC (the

metabolite of marijuana use) cocaine metabolites, heroin and any

other drug that have the potiental for abuse. The key here is a

prescription.
