Guest guest
Hi all, I was wondering, actually I am a little scared. has to have a Mri on Wednesday, a long time ago had an eye problem, it is sort of like a seizure but no one can clearly give us an idea to what is causing it. The special eye doc told us there is inflammation under his eyelids and that could be causing it, but here is the thing it happens only every so often, it will go away a couple of months then come back again. I talked with his eye doc and he said a MRI would show us if there is anything happening in his brain that might be causing it, he said it was unlikely but just to rule it out we will be doing the procedure. Now my questions are is this a dangerous procedure, they said they would have to sedate him, this scares me, does this mean he will be put completely under? also they said they will inject him with dye, ok once again this scares me, I am at a complete loss as to what is going to happen, I know this is stupid but do people die from this procedure? Ok if anyone knows what a Mri is and can explain to me about it that way I won't be so scared going in. Thanks ..... mommy of 5 years old w/cf/adhd and 2 years old no CF
