Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I have never heard of sure a ridicules policy. You are a better able to handle a stressful situation than I am. I would have probably written your letter and cussed out someone for such a policy. I do know doctors around here that do require you to call ahead 24 - 48 hours for refills. They don't want you to wait until you are totally out, in case the doctor isn't in that day. After you do call for a refill, you can go and pick it up, if it has to be written. I know that the Pharmacy I deal with, has me have my doctor call in the refill. There are too busy to call for just a regular refill. Now if there is a problem with the RX, such as it now available in a certain strength that your doctor has written, then the pharmacy will call the doctors office. Otherwise it's up to doctor office to call it in. It sound like someone in the doctors office doesn't want to be bother doing there job. You mention that you were lucky to have your emergency stash that Poncho mention. I must have been off line when this was discussed and was wondering if you could tell me what this is about. It sounds like it could be very useful, for an unexpected flare up. How does it work? Thanks and I hope you fell better soon. This stress that you have to go through with your doctors office, I'm sure isn't helping the pain. Take Care, Louie in WV
