Dear GrandmoMBEV,

Thank you for the e-mail. That is great news about

your granddaughter. My post is confusing. What I had

intended is would it be possible to remove MRSA from

the lungs? My CF doctor says " No. " Several CF adults

who once cultured MRSA tell me that they are now MRSA

free. How does a CF adult or child go from being

MRSA+ to MRSA-? One adult mentioned tea tree oil. Has

anyone attempted this treatment? Is it safe? My CF

doctor is not open to alternative treatments and does

not know anything about the use of tea tree oil in CF.

He tells me that working in the medical field would

be too risky for me and for my patients. This is due

to my MRSA+ status and the possibility of me picking

up additional bugs in the medical setting. If it were

possible to eradicate this nasty bug from my lungs

nursing could be a career choice.

Mindy

Your very welcome. I wish I could given you PROVEN answers, BUT to be VERY

honest to you & myself.. It is my understanding thru some medical

personnel's opinion from their experiences-----WOW-------- That mrsa does go

away....It is like in remission. It lays dormant. It can be aroused at

anytime. YET......I have heard that some " non medical -at this time "

treatments as the oil you mentioned & others , will help retard ----hold

back------lay dormant---or go away to come back another day.

Folks have been able thru various methods, able to be clear -in tests- for

some time. I understand, some folks say it is gone---------------- then they

get RE-infected

That is the debate by many professional world-wide.

their are some on line here & several other lists that are very well versed

in this. You can go to several & get much info. There will be lots of folks

answering you , I am sure , as this comes under discussion much.--Lots of

opinions from each ones experiences. many docs , as I said in my first reply

, that the cross infection-both ways is why they encourage folks out of the

medical profession.

you maybe would be happier if you choose another clinic OR doctor, for a

second opinion. It is done all the time. It certainly will ease your mind.

If you felt you would want to try some alternative method. some on the list

that are doing so will come forward either on line or to you privately. best

wishes as always

I'll talk at you later. I am gong to help my daughter set up her classroom

at her new school .She teaches 3rd grade & we do all kinds of neat things in

her room. She is very creative & is a hands on teacher in her 17 years. Also

a National Bd. Cert/Masters & mentor for others for their boards too. She is

a title I Reading specialist & also ADA cert. Sooooooooo, that's going to

take us several days. I took today off work to get started :):):) -But I

love it- I also taught 20+ years ......years ago. I am almost 71......have 5

kids & 10 grandkids with 4 of them in college soooooo,

talk at you soon.

LOVE & HUGS,
