Guest guest
Hi Everyone: I have been been reading about some people putting aside a " stash " of medication so they have extra when the pain gets bad. I am prescribed 100 mg. of Oxycontin two times a day, and 3 fentanyl pops a day. I need to take all of this every day just to function, so I'm wondering how do other people manage to put aside a stash? Does this mean that I am not adequately treating my pain? That I should probably have some extra? Recently another second opinion doctor advised that he wasn't even sure I had cp, because my pain was right sided and got worse with activity. Since his visit I have tried to monitor my pain better. I notice that it gets worse when I eat. I also break out in extreme sweating lately when I eat. I have taken to eating small amounts of " approved " foods, and that helps. If I could live on oatmeal, cream of wheat or soup, I probably would they seem to bother me the least. Anyway, just my thoughts on this....
