Girlfriend this is a piece of cake! ok ok maybe I should put it another way....it's a breeze. It hurt when I first came out of anesthesia, hurt to cough, hurt to get up. But that only lasted the first 2 days. Now I am 4 days post op and I really cant believe he did the surgery! I have not thrown up any, have not been weak, have not been in the least bit miserable. On the third day post op I walked all over the Life and Science Center with my 7 yr old nephew! I even walked all through West Point on the Eno's Park where they have a quaint old grist mill. The only time I wanted any food was when the smell of grilled hamburgers filled the air. The smell really triggered my brain to want a burger! But fear and common sense stopped that as soon as it started! I do see now, though, how hard it might get to be on a bland liquid diet when you feel so normal. Thank goodness for all the support to help us through those times! Can't wait to meet you in person! Please relax, think good thoughts and don't for one-second guess this choice. I really feel that my positive attitude was a key factor in my quick recovery! Save Trip!! BethBNThrilled! in Durham
Guest guest
Hey, glad to hear from you. I'm not second guessing. If I could leave today I would! I am so ready. The pain thing doesn't bother me either. I'm just unsure about what to drink and what to take when. I've tried to make me a schedule but then I just thought. I'll take what I can and drink what I can and try to sleep alot the day of and the day after surgery! How's that? Are you still goign to be there Monday? Tell me again where you are staying. What is the phone #? I can't wait to meet you either. Dinah I'm excited! > > > Hurry up and post again before I get on the road> I leave in the > > morning. > > Dinah > > > Hey Dinah!! > Girlfriend this is a piece of cake! ok ok maybe I should put it > another way....it's a breeze.
