I had one applied to me back in February. Don't know who decides, insurance or doctors, but everything runs so much more smoothly. Although it never occurred to me to tell them to refer to her in regards that I was " faking it " or just out for pain meds..and that my lipase levels more than likely are high, even though my amylase are normal..they just assume both are normal because the amylase are..(local hospital here is another that doesn't do lipase inhouse).
